About Yates Playgrounds
Yates Playgrounds are a family run company specialising in playground equipment for outdoor play areas. We have worked in the steel fabrication and engineering industry for three generations and now produce play equipment that’s sturdy, safe and tons of fun for little ones.
Our history is extensive, from making bullet proof panels for army tanks during the Second World War, to manufacturing agricultural trailers and equipment, narrow boats and ocean going yachts, we have carried out many successful steel fabrication projects over the years.

In 1992, we were commissioned to manufacture our first play area for the local parish of Rufford and a new chapter in our history began.
Demand for our play equipment became so huge in the following years we decided to focus solely on manufacturing products for the play industry, and since then we have undertaken hundreds of
