Materials and construction

Available in 2m, 2.4m and 3m beam heights to suit different site requirements, with bespoke sizing available on request; our playground swings are manufactured from high-quality galvanised, powder-coated heavy steel to assure long-term durability in any outdoor environment. The galvanised steel core resists corrosion from within, while the powder-coated finish protects the surface against weathering, UV exposure and everyday wear.

Safety standards and surfacing requirements

All our commercial swing sets are fully compliant with safety standards, covering structural integrity, entrapment prevention, fall zones and component testing. EN1176 requires a clear safety zone extending at least twice the pivot height in front and behind the seat, and 1m to either side of the frame.

Our team will assess your site and advise on layout during the design phase. Suitable surfacing beneath and around playground swings includes wet pour rubber, rubber mulch, bark chippings and sand; we can advise on the best option for your installation.
